Rainbow Roots Farm is a 2 year old certified organic vegetable farm located just a few miles north of Iowa City. The farm grows 60 different varieties of vegetables to sell primarily to CSA members, but also sells to the food hub, local restaurants, and donates lots of produce to the local food pantries through a partnership with the Cedar Rapids Sunrise Movement.

Rainbow Roots Farm is certified organic through MOSA and has a certificate with The Real Organic Project. By rotating the pigs, spreading chicken manure, and having an elaborate cover crop plan, Rainbow Roots Farm follows a regenerative farming style. This will create healthy systems on the farm and make the property healthier than it was before we started farming.
