Black Earth Gardens is a small-scale regenerative farm located just outside of Cedar Rapids. Black Earth Gardens specializes in growing vegetables, herbs, and fruits of cultural importance to Black communities in Eastern Iowa, with a focus on increasing justice in our local community by dismantling food apartheid and expanding food sovereignty.

For our farm, regenerative farming means going above and beyond organic growing practices. We strive to live in right-relationship with the Earth, so that everything we do improves the soil, water, air, and wildlife that we are a part of and dependent on.
