In 1986 there was a need for a good tomato in the off season, hence the Ineichen Tomatoes brand was born. Through research, blood, sweat, tears, trial and error, we now carry some of the best tasting tomatoes in the Midwest. Ineichen Tomatoes is a family business, and has now been passed down to the second generation. We grow and operate in two locations, Bluegrass, IA, and Milan, IL. We grow 14,000 tomato plants, 1,200 cucumber plants, and 5,500 pepper plants. Ineichen Produce is planted in sterile medium, and watered with a hydroponic solution. Our tomatoes are the best around, because they are vine ripened, hand picked and sorted. Long story short, WE KNOW TOMATOES! Our loyal customers know this too, they have been buying them from Carrie, the infamous, "Tomato Girl" for over 30 years!
