The Hub to Hub (H2H) Network is a collaboration of Iowa’s wholesale food hubs working together to efficiently source, sell, and move local food across Iowa.H2H makes it easier for wholesale buyers to access source-identified local products and partners with producers to grow the market and strengthen the logistics behind it. 

Connecting Iowa’s Food System—One Route at a Time

The Hub to Hub Network (H2H) is a collaborative effort between Iowa food hubs to move local food more efficiently across the state. 

By linking food hubs and strategically placed storage facilities (called nodes), the network makes it easier for customers to order large volumes of diverse local products from a single source and helps producers reach new markets without the cost and hassle of long-distance transport.

Each week, products travel along coordinated North/South and East/West routes, allowing hubs to fill supply gaps, share inventory, and offer more complete product lists to buyers. The H2H Network also provides affordable delivery services for farmers and food businesses, making it easier to grow their customer base and streamline distribution.
